The Beginning...

This is my first try at making a blog, so forgive me in advance please as I learn this new technology.  I'm 54 years old, and there have been so many changes in computers in my lifetime.  Actually, they get easier as the existence of this blog testifies.

I've had a variety of jobs over the years, but for the last 20 or so years, I have managed to incorporate hazardous materials education into them.  You might wonder why (and perhaps I should too!), but believe me, our world is full of toxins that really don't need to be there.  So, I'd like to help educate the world about how to change our habits and reduce the toxicity in our homes and in the environment.  I've got a real bone to pick with the manufacturers who produce products that can do us harm, and I want to teach you to avoid these products when there is a nontoxic or low-toxic alternative.  Perhaps even our government would step up to the plate and regulate products before they hit the marketplace rather than after and someone is harmed or killed.

So, here I go hoping not to get sued or stalked...
